The 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place in Antalya, Türkiye from November 9 to 20, 2026. As the world’s largest, highest-level and most influential international climate conference, COP31 brings together delegates from nearly 200 contracting parties to negotiate core agendas including emission reduction targets, climate finance and technology transfer, and conclude legally binding international agreements. Chaired by Türkiye with Australia as co-presidency, this conference prioritizes six key areas: electrification, waste management, resilient cities, climate finance, green industrialization and climate education.
BCAA Granted Observer Status for COP31
The Bluetech Clean Air Alliance (BCAA) submitted its application for UNFCCC observer accreditation back in 2023. On June 26, 2026, it received official notification from the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC): the COP Bureau has approved BCAA’s participation in COP31.This approval serves as the precondition for formal observer status, confirming BCAA has passed rigorous reviews by the UNFCCC Secretariat and COP Bureau, with full official observer accreditation to be finalized during this conference session.
Invitation to BCAA Member Enterprises to Attend COP31
Official delegate nomination for COP31 opened on July 7, 2026 and will close on August 10, 2026. BCAA has been allocated a quota of official attendance slots and now extends an open invitation to all member enterprises to join the delegation for this landmark event. Companies participating in COP31 alongside BCAA will gain exclusive opportunities as follows:
